While I’ve still got the To Do to do, I thought I’d cover my ass now and mention explicitly something I hope is obvious: I’m not advising anyone to cheat on their taxes, or do anything else illegal as a form of protest. I’m not saying that I would never ever suggest civil disobedience as moral response to injustice, but not under current conditions. There’s a lot that can be accomplished wholly within the confines of the law, up to and including total victory. So let’s do that, okay? Okay. I’m not your lawyer and I’m not your priest, so just keep it on the straight and narrow or keep me out of it.
