It’s not “All Revolution All The Time” around here

Sometimes you just need to work on other stuff :-) . So I have pushed my personal timetable back about a month as a result of some work considerations, but please check back in a couple of weeks, friends.  I’ll be posting again starting this week. I’m also getting my firearm purchasing ID card! Looking forward to picking up a long gun for civil defense purposes. Any recommendations?

    Buy one each of
    - Sig Sauer 556 or AR15 (assault rifle)
    - Remington 700P (bolt-action for long range)
    - Sig Sauer P220 or P226 (pistols)

Thanks for the tips! For someone with no experience with firearms yet, it was a real education just to see the number of webpages devoted to a comparison of the AR15 and AK47! (The other rabbit hole I’ve been going down is trying to understand what’s legal and illegal firearms-wise in NJ…ugh, wish me luck! Like I’ve said in reference to the project overall, one of my major aims here is total adherence to legality.)

John – Dont worry, the angle history is sliding indicates the banning of all firearms at some point due to ” the common good “. Of course, this probably wont happen for at least say – 10 years?

The ” dont worry ” part of that last comment was aimed at your frustration over existing laws. Im sure you’re not one of those people dying to ban gun rights.

Good luck. New Jersey is about as bad as California, I hear (where I live). You are not free.

Not free compared to what I (and all of us non-felons) should be, but still very free compared to most poor saps throughout civilized human history. (I try to keep things in perspective for someone who’s trying to change the world :-) .)

I would like to point out that we are statistics.

Every time the US government intervened in the economy, sales of Ayn Rand’s novel spiked massively.

Ruger 10-22. You can buy one at walmart and turn it into this:

Worlds most modifiable, quiet, cheap, discrete, unassuming and deadly.

.50 caliber rifle, not a black powder muzzel loader, or a .308, M-14, M-1, any 7.62x39mm. You need a gun that the enemy uses in case you need ammo.
